Hi Paul, I'm thinking about making one out of concert. What are the angles of intersecting between the panels? Are they all just the same as those of the original polygon base?

Your floor looks lovely. We have some much smaller teak parquet. Probably 1960s. Plan to use as top surface of stair treads on top of 50mm birch ply. Star design is single steel stringer with treads bolted across. May I ask, does the glue you use work ok for timber to timber?

How could you put Plexiglass in each triangle section? Thats what I want an can’t figure out how to do it this same way, add thick plexiglass and keep it from leaking.

All same length?

Anything with flat faces should never be used underground. A spherical section is the only "safe" shape. Having a flat top, like you have, is a recipe for death.

the water problem seems to me the best solution is to put drainage under the structure before you start and build this above the nearby ground level on at least one side so you can drain

Complicated design .....paul. Mine are all hexagons no pentagons. All the frames are 90'. To make the structure curve requires 'thinking out of the box'. This my secret technique. Nobody else is doing it . But when i get my first dome built the 'cat will be out of the bag' so everyone can have a go. Mine will not be patented, but will be registered to stop others saying i stole their idea. I want every dome around the world from then on to be built according to my design which has taken years to develop. I want Bucky Fuller to look down from above and bless me 😊

complicated ......my hexagon design is simpler and no need for cutting frames at an angle. They're all 90'.

so the frame is with 2x4 timbers? and you just staples plastic or screw polycarbonate to the frames?
